The Cool Foods Campaign is a joint project of the
Center for Food Safety and the
CornerStone Campaign. We also link with other organizations and businesses that share our commitment to reducing agriculture's contribution to
global warming and to building a sustainable food and farming movement. By working together we can better promote the necessary changes in our food system to fight
global warming. Visit our partners' websites for more information on their work.
We are always looking for additional businesses and organizations to join the Campaign by signing the
Cool Foods Pledge. We also welcome the opportunity to work with additional organizations that share our ideals - please
contact us if you are interested in partnering with us or signing the Pledge.
The Center for Food Safety The Center for Food Safety (CFS) is a non-profit public interest and environmental advocacy membership organization established in 1997. CFS works to protect human health and the environment by curbing the proliferation of harmful food production technologies and by promoting
organic and
beyond organic agriculture that is both ecologically and socially sustainable. CFS combines multiple tools and strategies in pursuing its goals, including litigation and legal petitions, legal support for various sustainable agriculture and food safety constituencies, public education, grassroots organizing and media outreach.
